Tree Disease & Insect Control

tree disease aphid infestation

The most common reason someone calls an arborist is concern that something is wrong with a tree. Sometimes the leaves are discolored, or maybe a branch has died. Sometimes it is a minor problem that is easily corrected. Other times the problem is more complex—with several underlying causes and a remedy that requires treatments extending over several years.

Proper pruning, water and fertilization assists trees in maintaining their health and vigor in the urban environment. Weakened trees are susceptible to disease and insect infestations. Our arborists use integrated pest management (IPM) practices when recommending and implementing curative measures. These measures may include soil injections, foliar applications, aerification, soil amendments and other solutions.
