Organic or Hybrid Fertilizer Programs

Organic fertilizers produce slower, healthier, more disease resistant growth, resulting in less pesticide use and sometimes fewer maintenance hours. If soil conditions or budget constraints prohibit the use of certified organic fertilizers, hybrid fertilizers may be an option. They are organic based, but contain some synthetic urea.

Synthetic fertilizers are made with petroleum products and they are not sustainable. They create global pollution from refining, packaging and shipping, as well as local pollution through runoff into streams, marshlands and the bay.  Over time, synthetic fertilizers also harm soil ecology and reduce soil fertility.

We can create an organic or hybrid fertilizer program based on your specific goals and the conditions of your site.
